Data subjects
Terms of Use
These terms cover the public rights form only. Last updated: September 24, 2026.
Searchlook, Mexico City, Mexico, offers a public page where a person, or their legal representative, can exercise acceso, rectificación, cancelación, and oposición under the LFPDPPP (Diario Oficial de la Federación, 20 March 2025). These terms do not create an API account and do not license the Screening API. API customers accept a separate set of terms at registration.
Only the data subject, or their legal representative, may file (article 27). You confirm that you are that person, or that you have authority to act for them. An API customer cannot file this request from inside their account in place of the data subject.
- Your full name, and an email or other way for us to reply (article 28).
- An official ID, on every request. A representative also sends proof of their authority and their own identity (article 28, fraction II).
- For rectification: the correction you want, and documents that show the data should be changed (article 30).
The form does not send the request until those files are attached and you accept the Privacy Notice for data subjects and these terms.
After you submit, we show an access key once. That key is how you reopen the request, read replies, and add files. Keep it. We communicate the decision within 20 business days, and carry out a granted request within the following 15 business days (article 31).
We can refuse a request in the cases in article 33, including when identity is not proved, when we do not hold the data, or when a legal obligation prevents cancellation. Screening audit logs are kept for 10 years under article 18 of the LFPIORPI, the anti-money-laundering record-keeping rule.
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. The courts of Mexico City are competent. The personal-data statute is the LFPDPPP. Supervision of that statute sits with the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.
